I wanted to take a minute and say how grateful I am for such a wonderful husband. Jeff really is amazing. He is so great with the babies and they just love him to pieces. They get so excited when they see daddy. He will get home from work and instantly take over with the babies to give me a little break. And lately he has been taking the monitor and doing the entire night by himself. Most of you cant really appreciate what that means. Allow me to explain. They babies sleep between 9 and 11 hours at night. Thats greats in all BUT this is how the night usually plays out.
6:30pm: Bed.
12:00am: Lainey usually up. Takes between 5-15 minutes to get her back to sleep.
12:00am - 3:00am: Nick or Gabe or both usually up at least once sometimes twice. Give them a paci and a pat and they usually go back to sleep. Up 5-15 minutes each time with them.
3:00am - 4:00am: Lainey up and needs to eat. Up around 1/2 hour.
4:00am - 5:30am: Both the boys usually wake (at different times) and need a "snack baba". Up about 20-30 minutes each time.
5:30 - 6:00am: Paci babies as mommy does not allow any baby up before 6:00am!!!
6:00am: Our day starts
So, even though the babies sleep well at night, there are three of them. Jeff is usually up from about 3:00am on. He does this every night now so I can get a good nights sleep. He really is wonderful. Thank you baby!! I love you so much!!
