Its Official. . .

We had our first U/S with the Perinatologist in Latham. I think it was the coolest thing I have ever seen!!! They checked every inch of those babies! I got to see the 4 chambers of all their hearts, the right and left side of the brain, the liver, stomach, kidneys, arm and leg bones, we even got to see the lens of their eyes! I was just so amazed! And what a relief to know the babies are all doing well. They all weigh 7 ounces. I thought maybe one would be smaller, but right now their the same weight. Baby A is on my lower left, Baby B (this baby is all over the place!! LOL) is on my lower right. They are laying length wise and were snuggling at the beginning of the appointment, then battling for space by the end. Baby C is laying horizontally on top of them right under my belly button. He has the penthouse. Lots of room. He was stretching and yawning. So cute! They were trying to get a measurement of his head and Baby B was kicking him!! Those boys are fighting already!! LOL And we got the OFFICIAL results as to the sex of the babies. Drum roll please. . .

Baby C Is A . . .

Fondest Pregnancy Memories

I really love being pregnant. I know some people will think I am nuts and that's ok. I really do though, thus far. I have been blessed with a great pregnancy so far with some minor symptoms. Since it is going by so fast and this will most likely be my only pregnancy I thought I would list my favorite memories so far. . .

1. The day we were finally able to take a pregnancy test and the test was defective so Jeff and I (at 7:30am) went to Wal-Mart to get another test and vacuum cleaner filter. Jeff stayed in the bathroom to check the test, I couldn't watch. I knew the answer when Jeff came out of the bathroom with tears in his eyes. We're pregnant. I jumped up and down until Jeff said "Don't jump you might break something!"

2. Watching (ironically) Shrek the Third that morning.

3. Getting my blood work done. The doctors were checking to make sure my hormones had doubled and the nurse said "Oh yeah, you doubled. You more than doubled!" What does that mean I asked. She just giggled and scheduled my first U/S.

4. Telling the "Ladies Retreat Gang", Chrissie, Jess and momma Winslow at Chrissie's house.

5. Having bleeding that night that warranted the emergency U/S the next morning in which we found out everything was fine and we were having twins!! haha

6. Telling Jeff's family and some more or our close friends.

7. The U/S appointment scheduled the day before we were to fly to Nebraska for Christmas in which we found out we were having 3 babies!! We heard the heart beats for the first time. In the beginning of the appt. I kept asking her so many questions she finally said "Mary your driving me nuts, wait until I am done and I will answer your questions". So I casually talked with my husband when we hear "Um guys, excuse me guys, you have three babies!!". Then Jeff and I laughed hysterically, then said "Wait WHAT".

8. Telling my family in Nebraska.

9. Having the news spread like wildfire and getting SO MANY phone calls!

10. Jeff reading to the babies.

11. Noticing the baby bump start and the forceful gagging which lead to my husband calling me Lurch. Gagging so bad I would tinkle!

12. Jeff putting me on a very strict diet of fruits and veggies and making me eat ALL THE TIME!

13. Jeff bringing me an extra chocolate, extra thick milkshake from Stewarts to celebrate 14 weeks.

14. Seeing the babies move for the first time.

15. Finding out what the babies were. Well at least 2 of them.

16. Feeling the baby flutters for the first time.

17. Jeff finally wanting to go baby shopping, 3 bag fulls later we have baby boy onsies galore.

I am sure there are more, so I will add to the list as I go.

Flutters

I have started feeling the babies "flutter". I started about 2 weeks ago which is really early but normal with multiples. Its so cool, it usually happens at night right before bed. For some reason they are very rambunctious at bedtime. I just feel all these little flutters, like butterflies. Then sometimes it feels like popcorn popping?? That is probably not the best explanation, but you get the picture right. They have been quiet the past couple of nights though. I'm told its still too early to feel them on a regular basis. Jeff has not been able to feel them yet either. Maybe in a couple of weeks he will feel them too. . .

Been Shoppin!!!

We got a package from Grandma and Poppa on Valentines Day full of baby stuff!! We had so much fun unpacking everything. Jeff's favorite were the preemie camo outfits and mine were the outfits that said "Heavenly Sent". Well, all this baby stuff made Jeff and I want to go shopping!! Off to the mall the went and came home with 3 bags of baby stuff. We had so much fun and surprisingly agreed on most things for the babies! We also ordered out triplet stroller and car seats. Below are pictures of our little shopping spree. =)

Oh "BOY"!

We had our ulstrasound appointment and I think it was the best appointment I have ever had! All my blood work came back good and my cervical length was great. All the babies look good, heart beats are great and they are getting so big!! We video taped the ultrasound, I am not sure how will it came out but I will post it later. You can hear the babies heart beats. It is a really long video so it may take me a few days to post it. We also found out the sexes of the 2 of the babies!!! Ok, they are. . .eh hem, drum roll please. . . .

Baby A (still to early to tell but leaning towards a. . .)

BOY (Just a foot in this picture)

Baby B (definitely a. . .)

BOY

Baby C (90% sure a . . )

BOY

Thats right, there could be 3 boys in there!!! So much fun!! We are just ecstatic! Jeff is grinning from ear to ear. There is still a possiblitiy that Baby A is a girl so we will just have to hold out a couple more weeks to find out. Either way would be wonderful. Belly picture coming soon. . .

Starting School!

Ok, so I started schooling online for medical transcription. I've got like 3 books that are about 10 inches think and all these CD's and workbooks. Needless to say I was terrified. So I plunged in head first to Lesson One. I happy to report that 3 days later I finished Lesson One, took the quiz and scored 100%!!!! I am so excited that on my first quiz I got a 100! Thank goodness for Jeff who spent about 2 hours studying with me. I really do have the greatest husband in the world!!!

On another note, we go for an U/S appointment tomorrow. Cross your fingers and toes and pray that we will find out what the babies are. I have been telling them all week that the need to "pose for the camera"!!! LOL I'll let you know tomorrow. . .

Go GIANTS!!!!!!

WOW - What a game! I dont even really like football and I could'nt tear myself away from that game! So much fun. We had Rob, Chrissie, Jess and Terry over to watch the game. We had lots of snacks and I made a football cake!! I was so proud of my cake I took a picture. Those of you who know me, know I cant bake to save my life so this was quite the accomplishment!!
