The Darndest Places. . .

I have discovered the babies in the darndest places! Lainey likes cords and will wiggle her way into all kinds of corners to get to them. Nick for some reason will get himself stuck under the swing and Gabe will get himself stuck in the bookshlef cubbies. This is where I found them this morning. Lainey gets so mad when I wont let her near the cords and fax machine. I also posted a video of "Lil miss Sass-a-Frass" letting me know she is unhappy!

Crawling, Cruising, And Laughing!

Gabe got the biggest kick out of watching this toy spin. He was cracking himself up! It was so cute to watch. He had mommy and daddy laughing pretty hard too!

Lainey is crawling! This was taken about a week ago. She is much faster now! So much fun!

Out For Another Walk

Yesterday was another beautiful day! It was even nicer then Friday at about 70 degrees! We took the babies for a 2 hour walk. We planned it for their nap time and it worked out great. The boys slept pretty much the entire time. Lainey fell asleep for last 45 min. We walked downtown and got some lemonade and did some window shopping. Then we came home and grilled some filet. Dinner was great, filet, salad, and corn on the cob. We let the babies play on the porch while we cooked. Danny and his girlfriend Stephanie went with us. What a great weekend!

Out For A Walk

Today was a beautiful day!! When daddy got home, we made an impromptu decision to take the trio out for a walk. It has been so long since we have been out walking with them and we really wanted to enjoy the nice weather. The babies have nearly outgrown their infant seats (lengthwise not weight) so we had to put the toddler seats on the triplet stroller. They are great!! I love the toddler seats. They recline, have a foot rest that can be placed up or down, and have these great little sacs that you can button up around the baby to help keep them warm. I wasnt sure how the babies were going to like the new seats but as you'll see from the pictures, they loved them. Lainey was bright eyed and smiles the entire time. The boys enjoyed the fresh air and comfy seats so much they fell asleep. We had a great time, I cant wait to do it again!

Best Buddies

The boys LOVE to play together these days. What a site they are. They will look at each other and laugh and talk. It really is the most precious thing you've ever seen. I got some video of the boys laughing at each this morning. The video is dark, but you can still see it. I can tell they are going to be close brothers, what a bond they have. They will include sissy sometimes but the lines are clearly drawn already. My poor Lainey bug will not have anyone to play dolls or dress up with. Mommy will play with her! They are the sweetest babies. Love them so much!

Calling All Blogger Buddies. . .

I cant believe I am actually about to write this post but the time has come. . . almost. My sweet little preemie babies will be ONE YEAR OLD in 3.5 short months. Can that really be true? I dont know what amazes me more, the fact that it has been a year already and how big the babies are getting, or the fact that Jeff and I survived it! What a rollercoaster ride it has been. I must say the past few months have really been a lot of fun. The babies are doing so many fun things right now and make us laugh all day. They are very close to sleeping through the night. (By that I mean 11-12hours uninterrupted sleep - oh I cant wait).

Anyway, the reason for this post is I am looking for some creative themes for their first birthday party. A couple of things, they are only going to be 1 so nothing too extreme or elaborate. We are going to try to keep the first birthday somewhat low key (haha - I know). So if anyone has a theme they think would be cute please leave me a comment and let me know. Maybe I can come up with a small prize for the winner. . . incentives people! Here is a picture from today, my goodness they are getting big. . .

Boys Laughing At Each Other

This video has got to be one of my favorites! The babies are really starting to interact with each other, including stealing toys! It is so much fun to watch them discover each other and play. This is a video I took this afternoon of Nick and Gabe laughing at each other. It is unfortunately sideways and I cant figure out how to fix it, but none-the-less adorable. I really can not get over how much fun they are right now. They are worth all the hard work and then some. We are so blessed!!!

There are getting so big. I really love this age, they are an absolute joy. Oh, and Lainey said "dada" today. . . twice. Daddy could not have been prouder.

Sportin Some New Linen

I did some errands the other day and decided to stop at Old Navy and pick up some new clothes for the babies. Right now I just keep them in jammies all day, probably not the best but with three and not leaving the house it is just easier. With the weather hopefully getting warm will start walks and go to the park for the first time. I cant wait. Here are the babies in one of their new outfits. Lainey is wearing her first hair bow!! It only took 8 months and it does tend to fall it but I am so excited she has enough hair for a bow! So cute!
