Calling All Blogger Buddies. . .

I cant believe I am actually about to write this post but the time has come. . . almost. My sweet little preemie babies will be ONE YEAR OLD in 3.5 short months. Can that really be true? I dont know what amazes me more, the fact that it has been a year already and how big the babies are getting, or the fact that Jeff and I survived it! What a rollercoaster ride it has been. I must say the past few months have really been a lot of fun. The babies are doing so many fun things right now and make us laugh all day. They are very close to sleeping through the night. (By that I mean 11-12hours uninterrupted sleep - oh I cant wait).

Anyway, the reason for this post is I am looking for some creative themes for their first birthday party. A couple of things, they are only going to be 1 so nothing too extreme or elaborate. We are going to try to keep the first birthday somewhat low key (haha - I know). So if anyone has a theme they think would be cute please leave me a comment and let me know. Maybe I can come up with a small prize for the winner. . . incentives people! Here is a picture from today, my goodness they are getting big. . .

Boys Laughing At Each Other

This video has got to be one of my favorites! The babies are really starting to interact with each other, including stealing toys! It is so much fun to watch them discover each other and play. This is a video I took this afternoon of Nick and Gabe laughing at each other. It is unfortunately sideways and I cant figure out how to fix it, but none-the-less adorable. I really can not get over how much fun they are right now. They are worth all the hard work and then some. We are so blessed!!!

There are getting so big. I really love this age, they are an absolute joy. Oh, and Lainey said "dada" today. . . twice. Daddy could not have been prouder.

Sportin Some New Linen

I did some errands the other day and decided to stop at Old Navy and pick up some new clothes for the babies. Right now I just keep them in jammies all day, probably not the best but with three and not leaving the house it is just easier. With the weather hopefully getting warm will start walks and go to the park for the first time. I cant wait. Here are the babies in one of their new outfits. Lainey is wearing her first hair bow!! It only took 8 months and it does tend to fall it but I am so excited she has enough hair for a bow! So cute!

Choo-choo Wagon

With the weather starting to get warmer I decided to take the babies for a test run in their choo choo wagon. They LOVED it!! They did great in it too. I was surprised how well they sat up. They were all smiles. I cant wait to get outside with the babies.
