A New Playroom

We made one of the bedrooms in our house into a playroom for the babies! I am so excited about this as it frees up my living room. The babies have a lot of toys, especially after Christmas. It is so nice to have a place (with a door I can close!!) that they can have fun in. All the toys fit really well and even the new choo choo wagon fits! I LOVE this wagon. I have yet to take the trio for a ride in it but as soon as I get my house back in order we will. =)

Gabe Got Daddy. . .

We give the babies baths every other night and do wipe down baths on the other nights. Well, this was a bath night and daddy was playing the Gabe as he was walking him to the tub. . .aparently Gabey had to potty! LOL

Daddy surprised mommy and the babies with their first Christmas stocking. He took them to Dongo here in Glens Falls (who by the way are the most wonderful people ever) and had them embroidered. I absolutely love them!!

I have managed to forget all of my family's birthdays. Everyones. I remember the day before or the day after but can not seem to ever remember on the day of their birthday. I have missed, Danny, Dad, Mari, Mom, Jo, Anna and probably most importantly my Niece Bekah's 13'th Birthday! Her 13th birthday, how does an aunt forget her 13th birthday!! Ugh. So sorry sweetie. Glad you liked the gift though. So to all of you. . .

Lainey Has Cereal

Lainey had cereal for the first time today. She did really well with the spoon but was a little unsure of what to do with the cereal! She spit a lot of it back out. It was adorable!

A Sincere Thank You

I wanted to take a minute and say how grateful I am for such a wonderful husband. Jeff really is amazing. He is so great with the babies and they just love him to pieces. They get so excited when they see daddy. He will get home from work and instantly take over with the babies to give me a little break. And lately he has been taking the monitor and doing the entire night by himself. Most of you cant really appreciate what that means. Allow me to explain. They babies sleep between 9 and 11 hours at night. Thats greats in all BUT this is how the night usually plays out.

6:30pm: Bed.

12:00am: Lainey usually up. Takes between 5-15 minutes to get her back to sleep.

12:00am - 3:00am: Nick or Gabe or both usually up at least once sometimes twice. Give them a paci and a pat and they usually go back to sleep. Up 5-15 minutes each time with them.

3:00am - 4:00am: Lainey up and needs to eat. Up around 1/2 hour.

4:00am - 5:30am: Both the boys usually wake (at different times) and need a "snack baba". Up about 20-30 minutes each time.

5:30 - 6:00am: Paci babies as mommy does not allow any baby up before 6:00am!!!

6:00am: Our day starts

So, even though the babies sleep well at night, there are three of them. Jeff is usually up from about 3:00am on. He does this every night now so I can get a good nights sleep. He really is wonderful. Thank you baby!! I love you so much!!

My Sweet Lainey

I have to boast about my Lainey for a minute. She really is the sweetest little baby girl ever. The boys are very demanding and have many more issues to deal with than Lainey. She often gets put on the floor or in a toy while I tend to the boys. She is always content and very rarely complains. She will be patient until its her time. She is the first one to offer a smile to you, even if you have not been the most patient with her. She has the most adorable giggle in the world. And she "sings" so pretty (and loud) all day. Although her favorite place to sleep is with mommy and daddy she apparently found another place she likes. Here is a picture of her sleeping in the jumperoo. I just love her so much.

This is a picture of Nicholas when he was about 4 months old. When Nicholas use to fuss we would put him in the pink chair until we could get his bottle or what not. Judging from the face he was probably put in the pink chair because he was being "bad" LOL.

Christmas Tree

We finally got our Christmas tree. Jeff did a great job picking it out, it is perfect! Jeff and I decorated it today. Here is a picture of the babies watching the lights. They seem to really enjoy looking at them.

Winter Wonderland

We got our first big storm of the winter. I dont know how much snow we have but it is still coming down quite hard. Thankfully our wonderful neighbors took turns last night shoveling us out! When Jeff woke this morning to go snow blow, we were all shoveled out. The cars we cleaned off too. What great neighbors we have! Here is a picture of Nick playing in front of the window watching the snow.

Camryn Elise McCallum

Jess gave birth to sweet Camryn on Dec. 7th at 10:18am. She was 6.15 1/2lbs and 20 inches long. She is absolutely adorable!! She was born with a head FULL of the most beautiful hair! It is blonde with lighter blonde highlights. She is already like her mommy. =) She and mom are both doing wonderful. Jess, Terry, and Madyson we are so extremely happy for you!! We love you lots!
