Great Weekend

What a nice weekend we had! We needed it too as the babies have been sick and it really is so very hard when they are all sick. They are feeling better so we got to do some fun things this weekend. Saturday we took the babies out in the back yard for a while, they loved it. Then on Sunday we had an impromptu trip to Clifton Park. We had to drop off Jeff's Jeep to be serviced and decided to go to lunch and take the babies. We went to our favorite, Red Robin, and the babies did GREAT! They were all smiles and giggles and never fussed once. They ate a ton too! They had grilled cheese, quesadillas, and apples slices. Then we stopped at Toy's R Us to get more baby gates. I wish I would have gotten pictures of the babies at the restuarant but I forgot my camera. They were wound for sound by the time we got home. Here they are in the tub tonight, they were full of it!

Two ear infections, two eye infections, and a stomach bug. Baby boy is down for the count. Thankfully he is starting to feel better now that he has some antibiotic in him.

Not Me Monday!

I did not eat a huge piece of chocolate cake for breakfast declaring I deserved it due to the extremely fussy and sick babies that have stressed me out the past few days. Nope Not Me!

I did not have to make the same bottle 3 times because I was so distracted I couldn't remember the number of scoops of formula I put in it. . . 3 times! Nope Not Me!!

I did not stick my finger up my babies nose to finally remove the hard boogie that hard been there the entire morning. I would never do that! Not Me!

I have not used Baby Einstein to keep my babies content at least 3 times a day for the past week. I, the person who declared the babies would have no TV, would never do that. Nope Not Me!!!

The poor babies are sick yet again. It is baffling to me how these babies get sick when we rarely leave the house and dont have visitors?? Not to mention there is a hand sanitizing dispenser in every room of the house. Grrrrrrr. Anyway, they all have a stomach bug and some coughing. I think I changed about 45 diapers yesterday and went through about 11 pairs of PJ's. Yup its that bad. I am trying desperately to keep the diaper rash under control. The babies started to look red so I decided to let them air out. I put down a blanket and let them play for about a half hour completely naked! How cute are they. . .

Peek-A-Boo, I See You

Behind Gabe's crib we had a changing table set up. Well, I went to get Gabe from his nap the other day and this is what I found. He has realized that there are fun things for him to play with on that changing table and he can reach them if he slips his little hand through the crib slots. The second picture you can see a big package of diapers that Gabe is pulling to him. We have since rearranged the nursery!! So cute!

Jeff's New Jeep

Jeff traded in his Durango and got an 07' Jeep Wrangler. I am so sad to see the Durango go as I loved that truck but we needed a lower payment and it was a bit of a gas hog. Jeff ended up with the Jeep which is 3 years newer and had a lot less miles. Needless to say he had a lot equity in his Durango and got a great deal. And I do love the Jeep too. So fun to drive!!!
